New Challenge story

Well, new to us - the actual story is from 1989.

It's another great report from Peter Goddard. I haven't worked out the distance and ascents on this crossing, but there are one or two big days in there!

You can go straight to the story HERE.

I remember meeting Peter and his wife. He was my route Vetter on the 06 Challenge. My mate and me came across him and his wife at a river crossing. First Challengers I meet. Great company - helpful and encouraging. Makes you want to do it again, that and the hills. I enjoyed the read. Must write up my Challenges some time and share the joy.

Do write up your Challenges, Martin - judging by your 'walks' you'll have some fine pictures too.

Which reminds me. Peter has just sent me some more photos for this story, so I'll add them later tonight.

I'm writing up the 07 walk as I am at home in pain from having a tooth out today. I’ll put it on the blog soon and write up the 06 one as well(maybe put that on your list?). Hoping to do the 09 – the misses is ok with me going so I am awaiting the application form to come out in the TGO and fingers crossed. Also hoping to get the time of for the Dartmoor trip as Alan has kindly invited me. As for me photos I’m only starting to get into using my camera so thanks for the kind words.
